Course Aims

To provide the knowledge and tools to carry out a Domestic Site Survey.
To provide them with the practical skills to carry out a Domestic Site Survey with underpinning knowledge of relevant legislation and security product knowledge.
To complete a practical Domestic Site Survey and associated report.

Those who are required to carry out domestic site surveys and reports under the Housing Act 2004 Part 1 (Housing Health and Safety Rating System).

Those who offer advice to residents and home owners on Crime Reduction / Crime Prevention relating to domestic residential property.

  • Product knowledge and BS standards locks, doors, windows, fencing alarms and CCTV
  • Principles of conducting a Domestic Site Survey
  • Complete a Domestic Site Survey
  • Production of Domestic Site Survey report
